2. Ohio State Buckeyes

What if I told you that Ohio State and Florida have never met in the regular season? That’s hard to believe, but the two times they’ve met have both come during the postseason in the 2007 national title game and the 2012 Gator Bowl. Florida has won both.

Admittedly, this would be a much more fun matchup if Urban Meyer was still in charge at Ohio State but this could still be a revenge battle for the Gators and a litmus test.

Everyone is always debating Big Ten vs. SEC and what better way for a program like Florida to settle it than taking down the top team from the former. Plus, it’s just a shame that these two have never scheduled each other in the regular season because they’re both historical powerhouses. College football needs more historical powers meeting in the regular season.

If I’m Ohio State, I want to make up for the two losses in the postseason, including the blowout in the BCS national title game in 2007.

Let’s make this happen.
