1. Quarterback battle

Is anyone else intrigued by this quarterback battle in The Swamp?

Anthony Richardson was the guy who I believed should have been QB1 all season in 2021, but Dan Mullen was loyal to Emory Jones. Plus, Richardson was hampered for a portion of the year which led to Jones getting a longer leash. His veteran quarterback just didn’t have a good year and now that he has officially transferred out, this is Richardson’s team.

However, Billy Napier decided to hit the portal to bring in another option in Ohio State’s Jack Miller who enrolled early this January. He’s going to push the dual-threat sophomore.

The Gators also have Carlos Del Rio-Wilson and Jalen Kitna to fight for the starting job but I believe it’ll come down to Richardson and Miller.

Richardson is going to be my favorite to win the starting job but I’ll be interested to see if Miller is good enough to really challenge him. The former has all the pieces but Miller comes from an elite program and backed up Heisman contender CJ Stroud.

The quarterback battle at Florida will be highly-monitored.
