Myles Slusher had a solid season in 2021, recording 50 total tackles, three tackles for loss, two picks, and four pass deflections. Some would call that a breakout season but I think we will see plenty more from the junior safety.

Slusher is going to be one of the best defensive backs in the SEC this season and we got a little taste of what he’s capable of in 2021.

What’s even more intriguing about Slusher is that he didn’t even play a full season in 2021, finishing with just nine games played and he still put up some serious numbers. If he can play a full season in 2022, starting with a strong spring, Slusher could be an All-SEC performer.

The passing defense was solid for Arkansas in 2021, but it has the pieces and the potential to get better. Slusher is going to help make that happen.

Expect him to become a household name sooner rather than later.
