Malik Willis is seeing his stock rise leading up to the 2022 NFL draft and here’s a look at three teams that could be perfect fits for the Liberty QB.

The 2022 NFL draft is rapidly approaching and is now just three weeks away. At least, the first round of the draft is three weeks from today and one name you should expect to hear fairly early that night is that of Liberty quarterback Malik Willis.

While this 2022 NFL draft class isn’t viewed as necessarily strong at the quarterback position, there are a number of prospects getting looked at in the first round and Malik Willis is one of them, since he’s got as much upside as any signal-caller in the draft.

This was evident with a recent pro-day workout in which Malik Willis put on an impressive performance, especially with some passes that went 60-70 yards downfield.

Yet, that doesn’t mean Willis will be the first quarterback selected in the 2022 NFL draft. Kenny Pickett is also in the mix, and others like Desmond Ridder, as well as Matt Corral, are too.

But Malik Willis has more upside than any QB in the 2022 NFL draft and here are three perfect fits for the Liberty QB.

Seattle Seahawks

Seattle just traded away Russell Wilson this offseason and in the process, acquired a top-10 draft pick. The Seahawks created a glaring need at quarterback and even though they got Drew Lock back in the deal from Denver, there’s a reason the Broncos were searching high and low for a quarterback this offseason. It’s because Lock isn’t a franchise guy.

Malik Willis could be. He’s 6-foot and completed 62 percent of his throws for Liberty, has a big arm, and also ran for 29 touchdowns. He’s got some of the traits that made Wilson so great and if he falls to the ninth overall pick, Seattle should take a long, hard look at drafting him.
