1. Big-time quarterback showdown

DJ Uiagalelei had a rough 2021 season as the first-year starting quarterback for the Tigers but many feel that it will prove to be an extreme outlier. There’s a reason he was a five-star quarterback coming in and played well in place of Trevor Lawrence in spots during the 2020 season.

However, the Tigers do bring in another five-star in Cade Klubnik who enrolled early this spring and will push Uiagalelei.

I truly believe that Uiagalelei will be QB1 this fall for Clemson and he’s going to have a strong season, but having a quarterback the caliber of Klubnik behind him is only going to help. They’ll line up on opposite teams on Saturday and it’ll be fun to see who has the better game and if the competition is really helping Uiagalelei thrive.

Will Klubnik push Uiagalelei for the starting job or at least create a controversy this fall? We’ll get a good taste of the competition during the spring game.
