Oregon

You won’t find Oregon near the top 10 of any college football recruiting rankings for the 2023 class but the Ducks have added a commitment in 2023 this month, as well as an elite commitment in 2022 with the addition of five-star offensive lineman Josh Conerly Jr.

All of the crystal ball predictions from 247 sports predicted Conerly to USC, as did the On3.com prediciton machine. However, Oregon pulled the surprise and that pledge came the same day as the commitment of Tevita Pome’e.

The Ducks are also gaining momentum with five-star quarterback recruit Jaden Rashada, one of the last five-star QBs available, although Mario Cristobal, the old Oregon head coach is doing the same. But it’s another battle to watch.

Notre Dame got credit for adding to its 2023 class and Oregon does too since the Ducks have the only five-star pledge of any kind this month
