With the 2022 NFL draft rapidly approaching, here is our final 2022 NFL mock draft of Thursday’s first round.

It’s nearly time for the 2022 NFL draft. We have been waiting months for this day and whether you are a fan of the NFL or just a follower of college football, it’s a great night.

College football fans will watch their favorite players get selected (hopefully by their favorite teams) and after months of rumors, mock drafts, and everything else, here is our final projection for the first round of the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday night.

Here is a look at our previous 2022 NFL mock drafts, with one coming after the Super Bowl, and another following free agency and trades.

Next up, the first pick in our 2022 NFL mock draft:

Pick Analysis. 1. player. 52. Scouting Report. EDGE . Georgia. Travon Walker

Travon Walker has been flying up draft boards recently and is generating a significant amount of buzz as the No. 1 overall pick. Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson is also in the mix, as is North Carolina State offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu. Yet, Walker is viewed as having more upside than Hutchinson, at least according to some draft experts, so we’ll go with the Georgia Bulldog.

player. Scouting Report. Aidan Hutchinson. 2. 50. Pick Analysis. EDGE . Michigan

This would be a match made in heaven. The Lions need a face of their franchise and Hutchinson would be a perfect fit for the new culture established under Dan Campbell. There isn’t a quarterback even worth considering here and if Hutchinson is on the board for Detroit, this is absolutely a no-brainer for the Lions.
