When Richard Gouraige committed to Florida back in the 2018 class, he was an Under Armour All-American and the No. 7 offensive tackle in the country as a top-100 prospect. Now, he’s looking like a legit NFL tackle after starting 29 games with the Gators.

Earlier in his Florida career, he was a guard and started five games there in 2019 but moved to tackle in 2020. He made the full-time switch in 2021 when he started 12 games at left tackle and helped lead one of the best offensive lines in college football which allowed just 1.08 sacks per game.

Gouraige is going to take a big step forward this season with O’Cyrus Torrence bolstering the interior of the offensive line and taking some pressure off the tackles.

Florida could have two offensive linemen selected in the 2023 NFL Draft and while I think Torrence should hear his name called, I think Gouraige is the best the Gators have to offer.
