UCLA Football: Top 3 prospects for 2023 NFL Draft
This might raise some eyebrows because Dorian Thompson-Robinson hasn’t exactly been an All-American quarterback for UCLA, but the senior is coming off his best season yet and looks to be ready to take that next step as a passer.
For the first two years of his career at UCLA, he was a sub-60 percent passer and he had 28 touchdowns to 16 interceptions. Over the last two years, he is completing over 63 percent of his passes with 33 touchdowns and 10 picks. It’s clear that he continues to improve under Chip Kelly and I think another year will serve him well.
Dorian-Thompson broke out for 2,400 yards passing and 21 touchdowns, six interceptions, and a career-best 8.5 yards per attempt while completing 62 percent of his passes in 2021, and he also rushed for over 600 yards and nine touchdowns.
DTR doesn’t have the best size for a quarterback at 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, he his constant improvement and dual-threat ability have to be intriguing for NFL teams.
