2. Scott Frost, Nebraska

What’s more annoying, the constant preseason hype that Nebraska gets for absolutely no reason at all under Scott Frost or the fact that his UCF Knights proclaimed themselves national champions after a 13-0 season in 2017? The correct answer is both.

Don’t get me wrong, like everyone else on this list, Frost seems like a nice guy, but he seems to forever get the benefit from the doubt from his fanbase despite having a 15-29 record.

And the whole “the Big Ten owes us for bringing back football” schtick in 2020 was pretty obnoxious. Nebraska threatened to leave the conference if it didn’t reinstate the season after it was previously canceled due to COVID-19 and put itself on the same level as Ohio State. That entire situation rubbed fans the wrong way and the face of the program is — you guessed it — Frost.

Nebraska is just one of the more annoying programs in the conference and it’s because it feels like it’s above everyone else because of history and tradition, but the fact of the matter is that the Cornhuskers haven’t truly been relevant in nearly a decade.

Frost is Mr. Nebraska and his constant failure in Lincoln is not enough to deter fans from believing they’re going to win the Big Ten West every year. Opposing fans love to watch his teams fail strictly because he was so hyped up when he was hired.
