Finally, a break for the Gators. After kicking off the season against two teams that won double-digit games a year ago, Florida gets the lackluster Bulls of South Florida.

The Bulls finished just 2-10 last season and Jeff Scott has only won three games in two years with USF which may mean his seat is scorching right now. The Gators, led by Anthony Richardson, will win this one with ease.

Prediction: USF 10, Florida 42 (2-1)

With some momentum on their side, Florida will hit the road to take on Tennessee to end the month of September, but this one is going to be tough.

The Volunteers are trending in the right direction under Josh Heupel and he may just have one of the most explosive offenses in the country next season again. Hendon Hooker and Cedric Tillman are going to make life miserable for this Florida defense, winning a tight one in Knoxville.

Prediction: Florida 24, Tennessee 30 (2-2, 1-1)
