Miami football is expected to land a huge commitment on Sunday from Jaden Rashada, but the Hurricanes are trending with other elite targets too.

Four-star QB Jaden Rashada has been one of the most highly sought-after recruits in the entire 2023 class and on Sunday, he will finally announce his decision.

According to all of the crystal ball projections, Miami football is expected to be the destination. Originally, Rashada was going to announce on June 18 after visiting Texas A&M, Florida, and LSU.

But Miami football was able to get him to push it back and then got him on campus for an official visit this week. Soon after, the crystal ball projections started flooding in and nine experts are now projecting him to Miami football.

Jaden Rashada is ranked 45th overall according to the 247 sports composite rankings and is seventh among QBs. Mario Cristobal recruited him while he was at Oregon and that relationship with the Pittsburgh, California recruit paid off in the end.

When the commitment comes down, it will be Cristobal’s biggest recruiting win at Miami football but according to some recent crystal ball predictions, others could be coming soon.

Miami football is trending with more elite recruits

One recruit that Miami football is doing well with right now is former Clemson commitment Nathaniel Joseph.

Joseph is 5-foot-8, 170 pounds and is ranked as the No. 16 wideout in the 2023 class according to the 247 sports composite rankings, as well as No. 105 overall. He’s also No. 22 in the state of Florida and following a recent visit, Miami now has four crystal ball projections to land him.

Miami was already moving in the right direction but adding Jaden Rashada certainly helps make the sale a little easier. Riley Williams is another offensive playmaker trending toward the Hurricanes.

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound tight end from the IMG Academy is ranked 77th overall in the 247 composite rankings and is the No. 4 tight end, as well as 17th in Florida in 2023.

Williams visited Oregon this weekend but took an official visit to Miami football the weekend prior and has three crystal ball projections to the Hurricanes including a new one from a Miami insider. Fresh off his Oregon visit, that’s a good sign.

The Hurricanes are also the crystal ball leader for four-star DE Rueben Bain. He was a dominant force playing 5A ball in Miami last year with 29.5 sacks and over 40 tackles for loss according to his 247 sports profile.

Alabama hosted him this weekend. Florida State and Oklahoma are also involved but Miam has three predictions in its favor and the No. 196 overall recruit in 2023 could also be joining a class that should have some very real momentum soon.

I said when Cristobal was hired that if he could put a fence around South Florida, Miami football could be restored and while it’s early, he’s starting to do just that.
