LSU is an absolute enigma this season.

The Tigers are now led by Brian Kelly who came over from Notre Dame to replace Ed Oregon and they bring in Jayden Daniels at quarterback to contend with Myles Brennan for the starting job. Kayshon Boutte also returns to the offense and might be the nation’s top receiver.

But the Tigers were flat-out mediocre last season and there’s really no reason to believe they’ll be much better in 2022. Florida wins this one by a hair.

Prediction: Win (6-1, 3-1)

Florida fans usually look forward to this game because it’s a good litmus test, but this year may be a little different because Georgia is a machine and the Gators are in a rebuild, of sorts, under Billy Napier.

The Gators will hold their own in this rivalry battle but Georgia’s defense won’t allow Anthony Richardson to have his typical monster game offensively. The reigning national champs win this game by double-digits but it won’t feel completely lopsided.

Prediction: Loss (6-2, 3-2)
