Remember when I said that the Gators were about to go through a gauntlet? I wasn’t lying. Sure, Alabama isn’t on the schedule, but seeing LSU, Georgia, and Texas A&M in back-to-back-to-back games is honestly unfair.

But that’s the SEC. There’s a good team on the schedule every week.

Going into College Station, the Gators will feed off the road crowd a bit and take an early touchdown lead and maybe even hold an advantage heading into half-time. But that will be short-lived as the second half will be all Texas A&M as the Aggies will win by a couple of touchdowns thanks to an all-world defense.

Prediction: Loss (6-3, 3-3)

Spencer Rattler transferred to South Carolina in order to get a fresh start and I think that him and Shane Beamer are a match made in football heaven.

The Gamecocks are going to be one of the most surprising teams in the SEC this season and I could see them winning eight or nine games, but this won’t be one of them. The Gators will find a way to win at home and end a two-game skid.

Getting back into the win column will be a nice confidence-builder heading into the final stretch of the season.

Prediction: Win (7-3, 4-3)
