2. Devon Achane runs for 150-plus and two scores

Devon Achane burst onto to scene in the Orange Bowl after the 2020 season. The MVP of that game was absolutely ready to continue his dominance in 2021. Then, he sat behind the likes of Isaiah Spiller and didn’t get to show off much of his big playmaking abilities, outside of the shown big play against Alabama and a run or two against South Carolina.

He had 910 yards rushing on 130 attempts, so he got to run, but he wasn’t the star of the show.

The sprinter played second fiddle to Isaiah Spiller who had 1,011 yards on 179 attempts, so almost 50 more touches than Achane. Now, he is looking to be the top running back in the nation and his quickness and speed will easily help him achieve that. He starts that dark horse Heisman campaign against Sam Houston State with at least 150 yards and two scores in only one half to three quarters of play.
