Here are the Big 12 Power Rankings heading into week four:

Well, the only person talking about love thy brother is the preacher
And it seems nobody’s interested in learning but the teacher
Segregation, determination, demonstration, integration
Aggravation, humiliation, obligation to our nation
Ball of confusion
Oh yeah, that’s what the world is today
Woo, hey, hey

Is Kansas in first place in the Big 12? Technically yes. The Jayhawks are undefeated in the Big 12 but have only played one conference game. Except for the team they beat (West Virginia), no one else has played a conference game. Give credit where credit is due; the Jayhawks are playing good football and deserve everything they’ve gotten.

There were some bad losses last week as well. Kansas State fell to Tulane, and Texas Tech traveled to NC State and lost. Those were not good losses heading into conference play. The top of the conference, however, looks as if they’ve separated itself from the middle of the conference. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State looked good last weekend.

Texas rebounded against UTSA and did not allow Alabama to beat them twice. The schedule is light this week, but some entertaining games are on the slate. Baylor and Iowa State should be a slugfest. There are two rivalry games, the Battle for the Black Diamond Trophy and the Battle for the Iron Skillet.

So to Schooner Sooner, Bevo, Bruiser, and Marigold, here are your Big 12 Power Rankings heading into week four.
