25. Kansas State: Wildcats beat Texas Tech on last-second FG

Texas Tech may be on the verge of jumping into the AP Top 25 so this home game isn’t exactly a lock for Kansas State even after beating Oklahoma on the road. This game is going to go down to the wire and thanks to a big game from Deuce Vaughn, Kansas State will get into field goal position in the final minute of a tied game and they’ll drill a 42-yarder to win.

24. Pitt: Israel Abanikanda rushes for 200 yards

Israel Abanikanda has been a revelation for Pitt this season and he’s about to face one of the worst run defenses in college football. Coming off a 177-yard game against Rhode Island and three straight 100-yard performances, Abanikanda is going to rack up a career-high 200 yards against Georgia Tech.

23. Florida State: Jordan Travis keeps up with Sam Hartman

Any team that matches up with Wake Forest knows that it’ll probably have to win a shootout. Last week, it was Clemson that had to win that shootout against the Demon Deacons and DJ Uiagalelei kept up with the high-flying offense led by Sam Hartman. Jordan Travis will do just that this week with a 300-plus yard game and three touchdowns against the Demon Deacons. What an epic quarterback battle this will be.

22. Wake Forest: Demon Deacons pull off upset at Florida State

I’m buying stock in Wake Forest after its close overtime loss to Clemson last weekend. I think the Demon Deacons proved that they can hang with anyone and Florida State has been very lightly tested this season. Hartman is going to lead the Deacons to a huge road win and move into the top 20 for Week 6.

21. Minnesota: Defense holds Purdue to just two touchdowns

This may not sound like the boldest of predictions, but the Boilermakers are averaging 36 points per game this season. The Purdue offense knows how to get on the scoreboard. Not on Saturday against Minnesota, though. The Gophers have the best defense in the country so far this season and that stinginess will continue on Saturday as the Purdue offense will falter.
