20. Arkansas: KJ Jefferson out-duels Bryce Young

I know this seems like a crazy prediction, but it wouldn’t exactly be considered bold if I didn’t sound insane. But I think KJ Jefferson has the tools to put the nation on notice, even against one of the best teams in Alabama. I think we’re going to see Jefferson become a household name on Saturday afternoon as he out-performs the reigning Heisman winner.

19. BYU: Jaren Hall passes for 400 yards

I’m currently driving the Jaren Hall hype train at this point. I was high on the BYU passer before the season but now I think he may still be the most underrated player in college football. He’s thrown for 1,164 yards and nine touchdowns this year and I think he’s going to stick it to a mediocre defense with 400-plus passing yards on Thursday night.

18. Oklahoma: Sooners beat TCU by at least two touchdowns

Going to TCU and winning is not an easy feat, but Oklahoma has to feel angry about its Week 4 loss at home to Kansas State. The Sooners are going to take out some anger on an unbeaten, but slightly untested, TCU team in Fort Worth, winning by at least two touchdowns. They’ll cover the spread, and then some, which is currently -6.5.

17. Texas A&M: Offense figures it out, racks up 500 yards

Texas A&M’s offense this year has been dismal. In fact, the Aggies have yet to score more than 31 points in a single game and that was against Sam Houston State in the opener. Since then, the highest point total has been 23 against Arkansas. It’s time to change that. The Aggies will break 500 yards and 35 points against Mississippi State on Saturday evening.

16. Baylor: Convincing win over Oklahoma State

Hosting the No. 9 team in the country, Baylor needs to make a statement. It just went on the road to beat a tough Iowa State team last week and the confidence is building after that BYU loss a couple of weeks ago. I think the Bears beat Oklahoma State in a fashion that leaves no doubt that they’re a top-10 team. I’m thinking like a 30-17 type of win.
