The Gators don’t play until Sunday due to the hurricane that has swept through the state and devastated everyone in its path and I think they’ll have no problem with Eastern Washington and they’ll sneak back into the AP Top 25.

Washington is going to stay in the AP Top 25 because a one-score road loss to an undefeated UCLA team that will jump into the rankings this week isn’t that bad of a look. Sure, the final score looked closer than the game was, but you can thank Michael Penix Jr. and Co. for making a solid comeback in the fourth. The Huskies’ Pac-12 title hopes are still alive.

Will Baylor drop out of the rankings? It’s very possible but I don’t think so. The Bears didn’t look all that great against Oklahoma State and were trailing for a majority of the game. There’s still time to bounce back and turn things around, but two losses at this point in the season is not a great look for the defending Big 12 champs.

Mike Leach’s team deserves to be ranked after manhandling Texas A&M on Saturday night. Do I think they will be? Yes, that’s why I’m predicting it. But it’d be a shame if voters don’t put them in just because they already have a loss this year. That 18-point dominating win over Texas A&M was impressive.

I’m honestly kind of surprised no one has been talking about TCU this season after starting 4-0, but after demolishing Oklahoma by three touchdowns on Saturday afternoon, the Horned Frogs deserve some AP Top 25 love. I see them jumping into the rankings for the first time in what feels like a decade.
