1. UCLA football is a Top 25 team

I wasn’t buying any stock in UCLA this season heading into the Week 5 matchup against Washington. But this was the perfect opportunity for the 4-0 Bruins to make a statement at home and prove some doubters wrong.

Well, I’ve been proven wrong.

Chip Kelly’s team hadn’t looked all that solid this season (the South Alabama game was a prime example), but when it came time to make a statement, the Bruins rose to the occasion.

The offense looked great with Dorian Thompson-Robinson making play after play and Zach Charbonnet running all over that Washington defense and the Bruin defense kept the Huskies in check for the better part of three quarters.

The Bruins are going to be ranked in the AP Top 25 when the new poll is released on Sunday afternoon and I wouldn’t be shocked if it was somewhere in the top 20.
