Yes, I think Clemson will move up a spot despite not looking great against Syracuse for the better part of three quarters on Saturday but they still picked up a top-15 win over the Orange.

Clemson was down 21-7 right before halftime and then stormed back to score the next 20 points as the defense clamped down and held the Orange off the board. That defense in the final two quarters really changed things and the insertion of Cade Klubnik at the quarterback position injected some life into the team.

Syracuse just has Clemson’s number for whatever reason and this game gave off vibes of a few years ago when Chase Brice came in and had to lead a comeback win over the Orange at home.

Dabo Swinney says DJ Uiagalelei is still his starter and made sure everyone knew it in his post-game interview on the field. But it’s a good sign that the Tigers have two legit starting-caliber quarterbacks.

This looked like a top-four team in the second half.
