Are we really surprised that Alabama had its way with Mississippi State? We shouldn’t be because the Crimson Tide needed a bounce-back against a decent team and they got that against the No. 24 team in the country.

Look, Alabama fans, I know that loss to Tennessee was tough. It was the first loss to the Volunteers in the Nick Saban era, but the Tide will be just fine. They showed that on Saturday evening as they demolished the Bulldogs in Tuscaloosa.

The Crimson Tide blew the doors off of Mississippi State and held them scoreless for most of the game. The defense got back to the basics after giving up over 50 points to Tennessee last week which you just love to see if you’re a fan of the Tide.

Bryce Young also looked solid again and the Tide are right back in the mix of playoff contenders after falling for the first time last weekend.

Alabama will probably stay right here at No. 6.
