Steve Sarkisian had Texas almost back this season after finishing 8-4 but the Longhorns still have some work to do. Quinn Ewers is going to really push for the Heisman Trophy next year and Texas should be a legit threat to win the conference title. Not a bad year.

I’m still in shock that South Carolina finished the season in the rankings after starting so terribly, but Spencer Rattler and Co. bounced back to end the year with wins over Tennessee and Clemson. Two top-10 wins in the final two weeks? Buy stock in this program.

How far will LSU drop after losing in the SEC title game? Probably about spots to the 18-20 range but the Tigers just didn’t look all that competitive against Georgia. It’s crazy to think that LSU was on the verge of making the playoff two weeks ago.

UCLA had its best season under Chip Kelly and you have to really give him credit for the program turnaround. Dorian Thompson-Robinson gave it his all in his final season and the Bruins looked like a legit conference title threat all year.

Tulane went to the AAC title game after taking down Cincinnati a week ago and the Green Wave took care of No. 22 UCF to claim the title. It was quite the season for the Green Wave as they finish 11-2 and should move up a couple of spots in the final rankings.
