If you’re a Florida football fan, you probably want to forget that the 2022 season even happened. The Gators had a disappointing season outside of making a bowl and beating Utah back in September, but the future is still bright under Billy Napier.

The first-year head coach signed the No. 12 recruiting class in the country in the early period and a good number of those guys should have immediate impacts.

Which three early signees will have the biggest immediate impacts for Florida in 2023?

Trey Dean is gone after a successful career at Florida and that opens up a spot at safety for one of the younger, talented guys to take over.

Kamari Wilson or Miguel Mitchell will likely take over a starting spot at safety, but you can’t overlook a guy like Dijon Johnson who is a member of the 2023 recruiting class. He’s also one of the top 100 recruits in the entire nation and he’s going to be enrolling early this winter.

Getting to campus this winter and having an entire semester and spring ball under his belt will ensure that he’s ready to compete for a spot on the two-deep in the fall. The talent is there.

The nation’s No. 98 overall recruit could be the perfect replacement for Dean at safety or, at the very least, a regular contributor in the secondary on the two-deep.
