2. Braelon Allen is going to be a legitimate Heisman candidate in 2023

If you’re looking to make any futures bets on the Heisman Trophy race for 2023, keep Braelon Allen in mind.

Wisconsin has been known as ‘RBU’ for years now and Allen is just the latest superstar in the backfield and he may very well end up as the best of the recent bunch of NFL rushers. He just finished with his second straight 1,000-yard season and yet he still goes completely unnoticed on a national level, for whatever reason.

Against Oklahoma State, Allen had yet another really good performance, finishing with 116 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. He’s going to be the centerpiece of Luke Fickell’s first offense.

Allen should definitely be in that Heisman conversation to start the 2023 season and if Wisconsin improves to a 10-win team, he should be a legit threat to take home the hardware.

Allen is that good.
