Two of Ole Miss’ top receivers from 2022 are gone as Jonathan Mingo and Malik Heath are both moving on which means a couple of guys will need to step up.

Why not rely on the top receiver in Ole Miss’ 2022 recruiting class?

Jordan Watkins and Dayton Wade are both back as the top two receivers and I think we could see Jeremiah Dillon rise up and become a candidate to be that third option in the pass game for Jaxson Dart.

Dillon was a four-star recruit in the 2022 class, ranked No. 311 overall and as the 47th-best wideout, according to the composite. He stands 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds and looks like the kind of receiver who could elevate the offense with his speed and strong hands.

Dart needs someone to step up in the receiving corps and while the self-proclaimed “Portal King” (Lane Kiffin) will undoubtedly add transfer receivers, Dillon has the offense down and will flourish with a full offseason of gelling with his quarterback.
