Oregon landed a couple of transfer receivers as well as talented 2023 class wideout Jurrion Dickey this offseason, but Kyle Kasper was the top-ranked pass-catcher in the Ducks’ 2022 class and I think we’ll see his role increase this season.

Kasper had a rather quiet freshman season because the Ducks didn’t exactly need him to play a ton. He appeared in three games and caught a four-yard pass. He was able to retain that redshirt and with Chase Cota gone and Dont’e Thornton transferring to Tennessee, I think we’ll see Kasper play a big role and benefit from the return of Bo Nix.

Kasper was the No. 150 overall recruit and 25th-best receiver in the 2022 class out of Gilbert, Ariz., and he has the perfect frame to be a jump-ball threat in this Oregon offense at 6-foot-5 and about 200 pounds.

I think we see Kasper take a big jump in year two and be an integral part of that passing game.
