It’s nearly National Signing Day for the 2023 college football recruiting class and here are the latest rumors and crystal ball projections as Wednesday approaches.

National Signing Day is now one day away and things are starting to get a little crazier and in some recruitments, a little more clear.

On Monday, we started to hear some new buzz relating to five-star tight end Duce Robinson, as well as a new crystal ball projection for five-star athlete Nyckoles Harbor.

Penn State is also trending in the right direction with a top O-line target left on the board and here’s a rundown of all the key college football recruiting news on National Signing Day eve.

Nyckoles Harbor gets a new crystal ball

Five-star Nyckoles Harbor has been one of the most-watched recruits leading up to signing day and on Monday, he received a crystal ball projection to South Carolina. As early as yesterday afternoon, it was pretty foggy about where he would wind up.

Steve Wiltfong of 247 sports reported on Tuesday morning that he could see Harbor deciding between Oregon and South Carolina. Michigan, Maryland, and Miami are still in the mix but the optimism seems to be with the Gamecocks and Ducks. Harbor just visited Oregon last weekend.

At the very least, we know a decision will come Wednesday.

Duce Robinson could be delaying

USC has been making a major push for the No. 1 tight end in the 2023 college football recruiting class and those efforts appear to be paying off.

Blair Angulo of 247 sports reported on Monday that Robinson might not sign on National Signing Day which would be a bad thing for the Georgia Bulldogs and a great thing for USC.

Wiltfong reported that USC is gaining momentum and with the Trojans closer to home for the Phoenix, Arizona prospect, it seems like the Bulldogs’ grip has loosened on one of their top targets.

Key O-line target trending for Penn State

Chimdy Onoh is another one of the top-ranked prospects in the 2023 college football recruiting class that hasn’t come off the board yet and despite a recent visit to Ole Miss, Penn State picked up a couple of crystal balls for Onoh, including one from Wiltfong, which is usually a good sign.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder is ranked No. 257th overall in the 2023 class and is the fifth-ranked player out of Maryland according to the 247 sports composite rankings.

Wiltfong also offered up some intel on Jaden Rashada. The former Florida signee and five-star QB according to 247 sports’ own rankings, visited TCU this past weekend, as well as Arizona State prior to that.

Wiltfong said there is more optimism on the TCU side of things right now, but we aren’t really sure when Rashada is going to decide. It could be on National Signing Day. He could also wait, but the national runner-up should feel good about where it stands with the elite QB recruit.
