Florida football: Way-too-early game-by-game predictions for 2023
I see Arkansas being one of the more improved teams in the SEC next season, but just like the Tennessee game earlier in the year, Florida is going to show up with a big opportunity at home on the line.
KJ Jefferson is back at quarterback with his trusty running back Rocket Sanders. That offense should be solid, but I think we’ll see the Florida offense finally perk up after a bit of a lull.
Graham Mertz has one of his best games as a Gator and Florida pulls off a huge win to move just one away from bowl eligibility.
Prediction: Win (5-4, 3-3)
I’ll be honest, I didn’t think that LSU would have immediate success under Brian Kelly because that fit just didn’t make a ton of sense to me.
But he proved me wrong and I think he’s going to continue proving me wrong in 2023 with another playoff-contending season.
The Tigers return Jayden Daniels and one of the better offenses in the SEC and the defense should only improve. I think that LSU has what it takes to compete for an SEC East title and represent that division in the conference championship and this win will help.
Prediction: Loss (5-5, 3-4)
