OT. Paris Johnson Jr.. player. 44. Pick Analysis. Ohio State. 8. Scouting Report

Seeing the top offensive lineman, in my opinion, go No. 7 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders, the Falcons will feel a little pressure to pick up a need here at the eighth spot along the offensive line in the form of Paris Johnson Jr., another elite offensive tackle from the Big Ten.

The Falcons could also use an interior defensive lineman, a receiver, a linebacker, or secondary help. I could see them snag one of the top cornerbacks in the class here, but the safer pick would have to be Paris Johnson Jr. to help protect the young quarterback that they chose last year, Desmond Ridder.

Plus, the offense is coming together nicely with Ridder, Tyler Allgeier, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts. The only logical addition to this side of the ball other than another elite receiver (which is also a very serious possibility), would be to add some offensive line help.

Johnson Jr. is arguably the best run-blocker in the class and is a plus pass-blocker. He’s listed as a tackle but only played one year there at Ohio State so he could play either on the interior or at tackle for the Falcons — they need both.
