3. Florida State Seminoles

Another program that still uses helmet stickers, Florida State represents the garnet and gold well. They have one of the best logos in college football to go along with a helmet that has a perfect color scheme.

The gold helmet with the garnet and white spear with a chrome-looking garnet facemask? That’s a darn good helmet and it pairs well with the uniform. Florida State has had this helmet for years and while it’s tested alternates of a white helmet with the same logo and even a matte garnet helmet with a gold spear, this one is the best. I actually think the matte garnet helmet is the worst one of the three, in this case.

Florida State has a rich tradition, one of the best game intros in the game with Chief Osceola riding in with the spear and planting it in the field, and it has one of the best chants. It only makes sense that this school with such a rich tradition has one of the best helmets.

Do I have Florida State’s helmet too high on this list? Maybe, but I’m a huge fan of the look.
