If you know anything about me, you’d know that I don’t buy into Pat Narduzzi and Pitt. While he is a former Spartan coach (I am an alum), he did disrespect Michigan State and the Big Ten last year by saying that Pitt would win the conference regularly and that the Panthers would have beaten MSU in the Peach Bowl if Kenny Pickett played (Kenneth Walker III also sat out).

Putting my personal bias aside, this is a game that Notre Dame should win rather easily and rebound nicely from the USC loss. This could put Notre Dame back on track to earn a playoff spot as long as it doesn’t have any more blemishes.

Prediction: Win (8-1)

Speaking of blemishes, Clemson will hand Notre Dame one to begin November, solely because this game will be played on the road.

Notre Dame and Clemson have had a fun rivalry over the past few years and it’s gone back and forth, but I think the home team will get the win again as the Tigers ride the hot hand of Cade Klubnik to victory.

Sam Hartman did have a monster day against Clemson while at Wake Forest last year so I wouldn’t be shocked if he went off again, but I just think Clemson will be too much at home.

Prediction: Loss (8-2)
