Now that Georgia football has landed the commitment of Dylan Raiola, here are three thoughts on what it means for the Bulldogs and others such as Nebraska football.

You could see the commitment of five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola to the Georgia football program coming from a mile away.

However, the top-ranked quarterback in the 2024 class finally made it official as he announced his commitment on Twitter on Monday.

The timing maybe came as a shock. There wasn’t some big hyped-up announcement as there was with Arch Manning and a bunch of other five-star recruits.

Dylan Raiola posted to social media and basically went about his business.

Georgia football fans have to be over the moon and here are three thoughts on Dylan Raiola’s commitment to the Bulldogs.

This makes up for Georgia football missing on Arch

Georgia football fans don’t need to bemoan missing out on Arch Manning anymore as Dylan Raiola is every bit as good in my opinion, or at least pretty close.

Dylan Raiola reminds me of Caleb Williams. He’s not a dual-threat quarterback but he’s not a statue either.

The Bulldogs just won back-to-back national championships with a former walk-on starting at quarterback, so imagine what they can do with a guy who might be destined to be the No. 1 overall pick in a few years time?

It’s not like Georgia hasn’t landed highly-touted quarterbacks before under Smart, but this is probably the biggest recruiting win for UGA since Justin Fields and hopefully, this will work out much better for the Dawgs in the long run.
