Georgia football’s lead for the No. 1 ranking in the 2024 recruiting class is only going to continue to grow after recent trends.

The two-time defending national champions are recruiting so well right now, you almost feel like things are unfair.

Georgia football has the No. 1 ranked recruiting class right now in 2024 and the Bulldogs are far from done. Dylan Raiola, the five-star quarterback and No. 1 ranked signal caller in the 2024 class just committed and he’s working hard to add a bunch more pledges.

Just last weekend, Georgia football had 14 recruits ranked in the top 12 of the On3 industry rankings on campus for official visits. This featured five five-star prospects according to On3 and five of the top nine players overall.

It was an insane recruiting weekend and the positive momentum continues to build. Kipp Adams, the Georgia Insider for 247 Sports is feeling the love for UGA’s class as he put in a bunch of crystal ball predictions for the Bulldogs.

He’s not the only one, but he did project Georgia football to land five-star safety KJ Bolden, as well as four-star tight end Carter Nelson. Joseph Jonah-Ajonye is another 2024 recruit that was projected to Georgia. He’s ranked 58th overall at 6-foot-4, 255 pounds.

UGA landed four-star defensive lineman Justin Greene earlier this week. Another four-star defender, linebacker Joseph Phillips (122nd overall) was projected to Georgia too along with four-star offensive linemen Marques Easley and Daniel Calhoun.

Georgia has 17 commitments already in the 2024 class. If all six of these predictions come true, it will put them up to 23. There is no limit on the number of players you can take anymore, and Georgia doesn’t usually need much in the transfer portal.

So a big class wouldn’t be that unusual. The Bulldogs signed 26 in the 2023 class and since it can be hard to get on the field, some talented players end up transferring out.

So Georgia football is loading up again. It’s essentially getting the pick of the litter and right now at least, there’s not much other college football teams can do about it.
