Drake Maye QB UNC

Dominant Stat: 99 Throw Power & 99 Deep Accuracy

There were rumors that Drake Maye turned down some serious cash to stay with the Tarheels. There are shadows of Sam Howell here who likely would have gone into his Junior season as a 99 in NCAA Football had it existed, as well, but who struggled mightily and saw his first-round potential falter. He fell to the (then) Washington Football Team in the 5th round.

That being said, Maye has ideal size at 6’4, 225 pounds and he’s a solid dual-threat quarterback as well. Last season he averaged just under 50 yards per game rushing and threw for over 4,000 yards.

Keeping with the style of Caleb Williams, Drake Maye is an ideal piece to build an NCAA Football dynasty around if you can capitalize in year one. The ACC is challenged right now to say the least, making the road to the College Football Playoff a relatively easy one compared to the major conferences and you’d have the best player on the field in just about every game you play.
