Are you shocked to see Caleb Williams drop a spot? Don’t read too much into it. This was simply because the new No. 1 guy on the list had arguably the most impressive performance all week and Williams was on a bye. He could retake this top spot if the Trojans can smack Arizona State around on Saturday night.

Williams has been fantastic this season and the reigning Heisman Trophy winner is only boosting his overall stock as a college player as well as a pro prospect.

Although Williams had a bye in Week 3, he’s still played three games this season because his Trojans played in Week 0 against San Jose State. He had just under 300 yards and four touchdowns and then threw five touchdowns the following week before tossing three in a win over Stanford right before a bye.

On the season, Williams has 878 passing yards and 12 touchdowns (No. 2 in the nation) as well as the fourth-best QBR in college football.

Williams will be in the top three for the Heisman all season long.
