College Football Rankings 2023: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 8
Everyone was talking about the “Spoilermakers” all week leading into a rain-soaked Saturday afternoon game in West Lafayette, but that nickname didn’t quite stick against Ohio State this time.
We all remember the Purdue upset of Ohio State a few years back, but the Boilermakers didn’t stand a chance this time around.
Kyle McCord passed for 276 yards and three touchdowns as he’s quietly putting together a really good season at quarterback after being heavily-criticized early on. He led Ohio State to a 41-7 lead over the Boilermakers and the Buckeyes seem to be on a collision course with Michigan yet again for the Big Ten East title.
Marvin Harrison Jr. had yet another solid game as he continues to look like the best receiver in the country.
This team is getting scary-good.
