Week 3 of the 2026 college football season has arrived, and as we continue to progress into the year, the games are only starting to get bigger. Most teams have finished facing cupcake opponents in non-conference play, and as league play is beginning in each of the Power 4 conferences, each game is going to come with College Football Playoff implications.
Last weekend brought the first major upset of the season, with Oregon falling to Oklahoma State, along with big games like Michigan vs. Oklahoma and Texas vs. Ohio State. This weekend has the same potential, with major clashes and plenty of teams that could find themselves on upset alert in their first true tests.
How to Watch ESPN's College GameDay
As is the weekly timeslot, this week's College GameDay begins at 9:00 AM ET from Austin, Texas, or at 6:00 AM Pacific Time for those on the West Coast. The show will be broadcast live on ESPN as well as on the ESPN App and will be available on streaming services likeĀ FuboTv. The broadcast will lead right into the 12:00 PM ET matchup between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Clemson Tigers.
Where is ESPN's College GameDay for Week 3
College GameDay will be live from Oxford, Mississippi, as the No. 8 Ole Miss Rebels host the No. 7 LSU Tigers in one of the biggest showdowns of the season. Given all the drama surrounding Lane Kiffin's departure from LSU, and the star power on both rosters, ESPN was given the easiest choice possible when setting the location for Week 3.
Who is the Guest Picker this weekend?
College GameDay announced that actor and Ole Miss Rebels fan Morgan Freeman will be its guest picker for the showdown between LSU and Ole Miss. Morgan Freeman didn't attend Ole Miss, but he's been such a prominent fan of their sports programs after growing up in Mississippi that the school gave him an Honorary Alumni Award in 2025.
