Las Vegas Bowl Prediction
Northwestern was one of the best storylines of the 2023 season. People didn't expect Northwestern to win a Big Ten game, let alone seven. Utah was expected to compete for a Pac-12 title, but the injury to Cam Rising doomed their season. Both teams are solid on defense, but the Utes are missing a bunch of pieces due to the transfer portal. Motivation is everything in bowl games, so I think the Wildcats will cover the spread, but Kyle Whittingham is too good of a coach to drop this game. Plus, he'll have Bryson Barnes at QB and the Utes will be salty on defense as always.

This is an example of the transfer portal robbing us of a pretty good bowl game. Grayson McCall and a bunch of Coastal Carolina players have left for the transfer portal. San Jose State, on the other hand, won the last six games after starting 1-5. Chevan Cordeiro accounted for 2,700 total yards and 21 total touchdowns at QB for the Spartans. Running back Kairee Robinson also rushed for 1,127 yards and 18 touchdowns. There's just too much talent on the San Jose State side of things.
