Aidan Chiles is the top-ranked quarterback available in the transfer portal right now according to the 247 Sports rankings. He's trending to Michigan State.
However, with some of the other top transfer portal quarterbacks available, such as Cameron Ward, Will Howard, Dante Moore, and Kyle McCord, even Maalik Murphy, things are still up in the air.
Will Rogers seems to be headed to Washington. But as we saw with Kyle McCord and Nebraska, things can fall apart quickly. Maybe the Huskies will show interest in McCord and Maalik Murphy.
Ohio State still hasn't gotten into the mix with any of the transfer portal quarterbacks. They seem to like Devin Brown, plus Air Noland is a talented 2024 commitment.
In terms of Cameron Ward, he's scheduled a visit to Florida State. He's fresh off a trip to Miami, but Florida State seems like a tough spot to turn down, just look at the way Jordan Travis has played the past two seasons.
Florida State makes more sense to me. We'll see if it plays out that way but that could make things interesting with Will Howard. He also visited Miami this week, which followed a trip to Texas A&M. USC has also been in contact with Howard.

Bottom line, things can change quickly with tranfser portal quarterbacks but Cameron Ward feels like the next big domino to fall.
