8. QB Kyle McCord (Syracuse)

Following a rather underwhelming season as the Ohio State signal caller, McCord goes from being a quarterback with elite talent built around him to a big fish in a small pond.

The former four-star prospect now gets a fresh start at Syracuse where he will be expected to live up to the hype and be the catalyst of a team under a new coaching staff.

While the pressure to win games at Syracuse is significantly less than at OSU, McCord will be expected to kickstart an offense that ranked 97th in the nation in total offense and struggled mightily through the air, averaging just 152.2 passing yards per game. That comes with its own set of pressures.
