No. 10 Texas A&M Aggies
Mike Elko's team is looking to make it back to the College Football Playoff, but they face a tough test in non-conference play. Arizona State reloaded in the Transfer Portal, and Kenny Dillingham has all the pieces to field another explosive offense this season. Texas A&M is working in a ton of new pieces on defense, and the weapons the Sun Devils have can hurt this defense.
No. 11 Oklahoma Sooners
Everyone is writing off Michigan after their near loss to Western Michigan, especially with No. 11 Oklahoma coming to town. One concern for Oklahoma should be that, even with all the offensive struggles, Michigan's defense was stout, allowing just 12 points, with 6 of those points coming off Bryce Underwood's turnovers. Last week could've been a classic case of Oklahoma looking ahead to this game, and we may see a much-improved effort from the Wolverines.
No. 12 Alabama Crimson Tide
The Alabama Crimson Tide picked up a win in the season opener, but now they head on the road for the first SEC game of the season. Keelon Russell impressed in his first start, but there's always a concern in their first true SEC test, especially with the game taking place in Lexington. The Wildcats have a ton of excitement for the start of the Will Stein era, and Alabama is going to need to clean up some of the mistakes they made last week.
No. 18 Tennessee Volunteers
Georgia Tech's loss to Colorado in the season opener has taken some of the buzz of their Week 2 game, but this team could still be dangerous. Faizon Brandon will be making his first road in Bobby Dodd, which could prove to rattle the true freshman. Brent Key is certainly going to push his team after the awful opener, and they'll be fighting to try and avoid a 0-2 start to the season.
No. 23 Missouri Tigers
Friday Night brings a rivalry with true hatred as the No. 23 Missouri Tigers and Kansas Jayhawks face off in Lawrence. Ahmad Hardy remains out for Missouri, which is going to be a constant concern for this offense until he returns. The Jayhawks brought back offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki this offseason, and the Jayhawks should now have the firepower to make this game interesting.
