Jim Harbaugh reportedly holds a grudge against the Michigan Wolverines
The Michigan Wolverines are off to an awful start. They’re now 2-3 after a loss to the Minnesota Golden Gophers last week. Head coach Brady Hoke has come under fire for both his record and his handling of quarterback Shane Morris. At this point, it would be a major upset if he returned next season.

That has led to speculation that San Francisco 49ers’ head coach Jim Harbaugh, a former Michigan quarterback, could take the job.
According to Albert Breer of NFL.com, Jim Harbaugh holds a grudge against Michigan.
"The Jim Harbaugh-going-home rumors won’t quiet soon under the increasingly hot seat of Brady Hoke at Michigan. But if the Wolverines are to land him, they might still have to overcome some hard feelings. Why? The story goes that Harbaugh held a grudge over Michigan’s lack of interest in 2008, when U of M tabbed Rich Rodriguez. One thing that could help the school’s effort to the land the coach: new administration."
Jim Harbaugh has reportedly had trouble with the 49ers’ brass so it wouldn’t be a complete shocker if he left the bay area. Of course, Michigan would have to fight off other NFL teams to hire Harbaugh.
