Although they hold a win over the Georgia Bulldogs, they were blown out at home by the Texas A&M Aggies in week one and lost to the Missouri Tigers 21-20 last week. Missouri was coming off a loss to the Indiana Hoosiers.
Now, South Carolina will be without a key player when they take on the Kentucky Wildcats Saturday night.
According to David Caraviello of The Post and Courier, wide receiver Shaq Roland missed his flight and won’t play.
One can only imagine South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier’s initial reaction to the news.
Shaq Roland has 15 receptions for 180 yards and two touchdowns.
