Look at that, we have a rematch of the best Pac-12 game of the year in the Pac-12 Championship: Arizona vs. Oregon. And both teams have a shot at the College Football Playoff now.
How did we get here?
Well, initially it was because of the depth of the Pac-12 South. But then the depth of the Pac-12 North showed this past weekend. We obviously knew weeks ago that the South was deeper, but Stanford upsetting UCLA threw everything for a loop.

In our final set of Pac 12 Power Rankings following a regular season of college football games, it is darn near impossible to separate the conference by tiers now. Stanford should have been behind Utah, USC, both Arizona schools, and then UCLA. But then after they blowout UCLA, where do we put both of those schools? And how far down do we drop other teams who lost such as Arizona State?
Unfortunately, the Pac-12 now only has eight bowl-eligible teams with Cal and Oregon State’s losses over the weekend, and it easily could have had 10. But it’s still a deep, tough conference.
And with two teams still in the running for the College Football Playoff, here are our Pac 12 Power Rankings following week 14 of the College football season.
