Lou Holtz does magic trick for Texas Longhorns (Video)
Lou Holtz spoke to the Texas football team and performed an awesome magic trick in the process of trying to motivate Charlie Strong’s team as they prepare for a rebound season in 2015.
When Lou Holtz decided its time to retire from ESPN covering college football he can pick up some work as a part-time magician after pulling off a great magic trick in front of the Texas football team.

The former Notre Dame head coach spoke to the team as they prepare for their spring game next weekend at the request of Charlie Strong and when he was getting his point across about what it takes to win a championship decided a little illusion would hammer the point home.
It may have been easy for some of these players to tune out Holtz if they weren’t interested in his motivating tactics, but credit the former head coach and veteran analyst for keeping them engaged and nailing this trick to perfection.

Criticize Holtz all you want for his speech or his opinion, but you can’t criticize him for his surprisingly good magic skills.
Texas has their spring game on April 18 and are coming off a 6-7 season in the first year under Strong as the head coach. They have a lot of areas of concern before the season kicks off in September, so maybe they’ll remember the words and the meaning behind this presentation from Holtz and pull off a little magic of their own on the field and return to the top of the Big 12 standings.
