After a disappointing 2014 campaign that saw Texas limp to a 6-7 record (1-5 against Top 25 competition) Longhorn Nation is looking to the 2015 spring game for any signs of improvement.

While the Horns defense more than held its own in 2014, the offense was simply terrible. For the Longhorns to improve in 2015 and make some noise in the offensive-minded Big 12, the offense must improve.
And a big chunk of this hoped-for improvement will have to come from the quarterback position: either Tyrone Swoopes or Jerrod Heard must step up, take the reins of the offense and be effective.
With spring practice coming to a close with the team’s spring game on Saturday, here are the top five storylines that you should be paying a close attention to when the Longhorns are on the field.
