Ohio State’s Braxton Miller makes one-handed catch look easy (Video)

Braxton Miller looks like he’ll have no trouble transitioning to wide receiver as he made this one-handed catch look easy.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will have one of the best offenses in the country as they look to repeat as national champions and a big part of that will be the transition former quarterback Braxton Miller makes to h-back and wide receiver.

Head coach Urban Meyer said the two-time Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year is in the same class from an athletic standpoint as former Florida h-back/receiver Percy Harvin who was coached by Meyer with the Gators at Big Ten Media Days and after some initial skepticism from me, I’m not convinced.

Miller has worked to develop his skill-set as a receiver and has run routes and playing catch for weeks with quarterback J.T. Barrett, but now we have video of Miller working as a receiver.

If the early reports are any sign of what’s to come, the Buckeyes struck gold with Miller as a receiver after he made this one-handed catch look effortless.

With Jalin Marshall, Dontre Wilson and Corey Smith suspended for the season opener at Virginia Tech, Miller won’t be eased into his new position and will be thrown in the fire and expected to produce and any doubts should be lessened after this video.

Sure, there will be some trouble spots along the way as he grows in his new position, but this should aleviate any concerns about Miller having the hands to make a seamless transition.
