Talented QB’s in the Pac-12 are abundant — even overwhelming, but some teams are blessed with more talented signal callers than others.
Last year, around this time, major media outlets, newspapers, blogs, and the like were enthralled by the idea of a conference that had more than one Heisman “frontrunner” at quarterback.

This year, things look a little different. Though there remain contenders, the clear-cut national names like Marcus Mariota, who ended up bringing home the hardware, and Brett Hundley are gone. Nonetheless, when the top dogs leave, somebody has to step up and fill their shoes.
Some schools are confident in their new signal-callers. Others have found comfort in the security of having a known commodity returning as the starter. While others have question marks surrounding the most important position in sports.
From the seniors like Cody Kessler at USC to true freshmen like Josh Rosen at UCLA, here is the preseason ranking of the Pac-12 quarterbacks with the 2015 season less than one month away.
