One Texas player was on Twitter at halftime of the Longhorns blowout loss to TCU on Saturday in another sign of how bad things have gotten under Charlie Strong.

Things haven’t been going very well in Austin where the Texas Longhorns have been absolutely dreadful in the beginning of Year 2 under head coach Charlie Strong.

The TCU Horned Frogs are blowing out Texas and are going to win back-to-back games against Texas for the first time since the 1958 and 1959 games when Bob Lilly was with the Horned Frogs. For Texas, losing to TCU shouldn’t happen, but this isn’t your older brother’s Texas.

This team stinks. And will stink for the next few years. The lone bright spots on the team are the few freshmen Strong was able to bring to the sinking ship in Austin, such as Malik Jefferson and Kris Boyd. However, Boyd may not be loving this rebuilding project because he was on Twitter at halftime and retweeting a tweet about him transferring to Texas A&M.

First reaction I have to this is, why are you on twitter at halftime of a football game?

My second reaction I have to this, why are you retweeting something at halftime of a football game and letting everyone know you’re on twitter at halftime of a football game.

My third reaction is why are you retweeting something at halftime of a football game about you transferring to Texas A&M?

This shows zero common sense and if I’m Strong, I give serious thought to suspending him indefinitely for this act that clearly shows he’s not dedicated to the team, his coaches, teammates and the university.
